Dr. Nancy Irven graduated Cum Laude from Life University in Marietta, GA, in 1993. She is a board certified Chiropractor and a diplomat of the ABBAAHP Board as an Anti-Aging Physician. She has been practicing in Citrus County since 1994. She uses the Activator Technique to adjust the spine and extremities, which is a gentle and painless procedure.
Dr. Irven earned her Health Practitioner Diplomate in the Clinical Science of Anti-Aging Medicine as a certified Anti-Aging Physician from the American Board of Anti-Aging Health Practitioners. In conjunction with Chiropractic Medicine she offers a comprehensive method of assessing wellness through nutrition, exercise and biomarkers, which includes visceral body fat, hydration, BMI and blood work.
Dr. Irven has provided Chiropractic health care in Citrus County since August 1994 and has treated thousands of Citrus County residents. Since 2002 she has volunteered to teach a nutrition program at the Crystal River High School to a selected group of students who attend the Health Acadamy. This is a continuing study that is producing interesting and astonishing results.
Dr. Irven continues to serve Citrus County by periodically teaching nutrition to the Citrus County Sheriff's Department. She provides educational talks for various organizations and has lectured at the Altrusa sponsored Women's Symposium for four years.
Dr. Irven has been a member of Altrusa International since 1994. She has written monthly articles for the newsletter for over 10 years.
